SevenHills Fabrication Ltd new Bystronic flatbed laser is now commissioned, training completed and running at full speed. This machine replaces our old 6kW laser and initial trials suggest it is 3-4 times faster than the older machine, with profile quality much improved and less fettling of the final components required.
The machine has a maximum sheet size of 3m x 1.5m and max cutting thicknesses are as follows:-
- Mild steel: 30mm
- Stainless steel: 40mm
- Aluminium: 40 mm
- Brass: 20mm
- Copper: 20 mm
