Prima Industrie, a global group in the sector of high technology laser systems, sheet metal working systems and electronic components for industrial applications, is pleased to announce that, following the closing operation by Femto Technologies S.p.A., a company whose share capital is indirectly owned by Alpha Private Equity and Peninsula funds, a new Board of Directors has been elected and a new Chief Executive Officer has been appointed.
The new Prima Industrie S.p.A. Board of Directors is composed by:

Giovanni Negri has been appointed CEO of Prima Industrie S.p.A. With a degree in Management Engineering and a Master in Business Administration from the Politecnico di Milano, since November 2018 Negri has been CEO of CMS SpA, company of SCM Group, a leading company specialized in the production of numerically controlled multi-axis machining centers. Previously he held, both in Germany and in Italy, several positions of increasing responsibility in SCM Group, Porsche Consulting and Siemens.
The former CEO Ezio Basso will remain on the Board of Directors and will actively cooperate with Giovanni Negri ensuring an effective handover in our Group.
