The HEX Group proudly announces the addition of Mark Proctor as the new Production Manager at Atlas Coatings, its in-house powder coating plant. Joining in September 2024, Mark brings a wealth of experience from his prior roles, including leadership positions at Denso Manufacturing, 8 Ball, and Pym & Wildsmith, where he demonstrated a strong commitment to operational excellence and team management.
Mark began his career as a Stamping Press operator at Denso Manufacturing, rising through the ranks over 15 years to become Production Manager. His leadership in this role was marked by effective oversight of multiple departments and a dedication to continuous improvement. At 8 Ball, he further advanced his management skills, implementing new standards and achieving significant business growth. His tenure at Pym & Wildsmith introduced him to the powder coating sector, where he progressed to Operations Manager, focusing on strategic operations and efficiency.
As Production Manager at Atlas Coatings, Mark aims to drive operational excellence and growth. He sees strong potential for expansion within the powder coating plant and is eager to implement his hands-on, forward-thinking approach to elevate the company’s capabilities.
Mark’s interests outside work include family, Manchester United, and learning guitar.
