As if the summer hasn’t been hot enough, William Hughes has been on an oven buying spree; four compact inprocess box ovens for use on their coiling machines.

The heat is contained, and unlike the inline ovens they’re replacing, which belch out heat into the surrounding area, these new ovens are very energy efficient. You can touch them, you can stand next to then and it won’t feel remotely warm. So, we know there’s no wasted energy.

The oven works by heating each of three compartments. The springs or bent wire parts are in each compartment for a set amount of time. When that time has elapsed, flaps release the parts into the next section of oven which continues until the parts gradually work their way down to the bottom.

A further big advantage is that the oven footprint is really small!
