Dyer has joined Global Underwater Hub, the leading trade and industry development body for the UK’s underwater sectors.

As a global engineering partner to major blue chip firms including Siemens Energy and GE Verona, as well as multiple Tier 1 contractors, energy is a key sector for Dyer, spanning generation, renewables, and oil and gas. Subsea infrastructure and offshore energy continue to be important growth areas, where the business is delivering critical structures that support offshore cables and pipeline systems, helping to improve safety, reliability and longevity.

Global Underwater Hub represents the diverse range of organisations operating across the UK’s £9.4 billion underwater industry. The organisation champions collaboration and supports growth across key sectors including offshore energy, aquaculture, defence, telecoms and subsea minerals and mining.

Chris Stavers, Commercial Director at Dyer, said: “Joining Global Underwater Hub is a natural step for us as we continue to strengthen our position in the energy sector. It gives us the continued opportunity to collaborate more closely with others across the underwater industry, stay connected to market developments and ensure we’re well placed to support the evolving needs of our global customers.”

Membership will provide Dyer with access to market insight, industry connections and specialist expertise, supporting its continued growth in subsea and offshore markets.

Sally Cowling, Regional Membership Manager (North), added: “We’re delighted to welcome Dyer to the Global Underwater Hub. Their expertise and strong reputation in manufacturing make them a valuable addition and we look forward to working together to support their growth through access to insight, connections and specialist expertise across the subsea sector.”

The move reflects Dyer’s continued investment in the energy sector, strengthening its capability to support complex offshore and subsea projects for customers operating in demanding global environments.
