A Trumpf 24kw Fibre Laser at WEC Laser division in Blackburn has just been installed.
The addition of another state-of-the-art TRUMPF TruLaser system significantly enhances WEC’s cutting capabilities, allowing them to process a wider range of materials, thicknesses, and component sizes with exceptional speed and precision. The TRUMPF 24kW technology can cut mild and stainless steel up to 60mm thick and process sheet sizes up to 6m x 2m, providing greater flexibility for both high-volume production and complex fabrication projects. The advanced fibre laser also offers increased throughput, improved process reliability, and outstanding cut quality across a diverse range of materials.
