The latest bespoke automated system to leave our facility is for the automotive sector. The system features two individually controlled hydraulic presses for multiple bolt insertion. The array of bolts are manually loaded by the operator, into a magnetic bespoke tooling, a selection of sensors confirm the aluminium casting and multiple bolts are in position before the press is actuated. The hydraulic press then begins a sequential process of pressing the bolts into the frames at varying forces (42 tonne & 32 tonne).
