S & O strive to continually improve efficiency and processes, remaining at the forefront of laser cutting, press brake forming and fabrications. Intrinsically tied to this is the importance of being physically well placed to serve not only Yorkshire and the surrounding areas; but with good motorway links, to serve the entirety of the UK. So when it became apparent that the company had outgrown their proprietary unit, they struggled to find a suitable alternative premises with the same transport benefits.

A stroke of luck meant that the unit attached to the rear of S&O became available, allowing the company to acquire the extra space that they need, without the disruption of a complete relocation. This enables S&O to remain in the place that has served them so well for the last 18 years(!) whilst enjoying all the benefits of the extra space.

The company undertook something of a demolition/building project to turn the two units into one, and now have one large unit, with two distinct areas contained within the CNC side and the fabrication side. Inspite of the challenging market conditions, the company continues to grow, relying on its hard earned, long-standing reputation for high quality.
