A modular system for different production flows
The Qubes are built from standardised modules that can be combined in different ways. Payload, speed and the number of pallet positions all play an important role. By aligning these elements intelligently, a handling solution is created that fits the product, the available space, the required capacity and the way the finishing line is used.
This makes automation much more targeted. You do not have to rebuild an entire line straight away. You start where the biggest gain can be made. That may be automatically loading a machine, relieving an operator or reducing waiting time between batches. When production grows or requirements change, the solution can be expanded with additional pallet positions, extra handling or a rotator.
This allows you to build a production flow step by step. A flow that not only grows with your company, but actively drives your production forward.
Precision, Power, Performance
The foundation of every Qube lies in Precision, Power and Performance. Precision stands for controlled handling of sheet metal parts within a reliable flow. Power provides the strength and stability needed for larger products, higher payloads and wider finishing lines. Performance is about what happens on the shop floor: more autonomy, less waiting time and a line that remains productive for longer. These three elements come together in every Qube, with the right emphasis for each application.
Flexible handling of changing products
Automatic handling needs to do more than move products from A to B. In practice, sheet metal parts do not always arrive in the same shape, size or series. That is why the Qubes are developed for different product types, formats and production environments. They are prepared for undefined product finishing: flexible handling of changing products, without having to create a new program for every new sheet metal part.
EYE-Q plays an important supporting role in this process. All Qubes are standard equipped with this vision technology, which helps recognise and position sheet metal parts before the handling process starts. This allows the Qube to respond in a controlled way to what is presented, keeping the flow reliable even when products, series or positions change.
Through Q-Connect, the handling solution can also be connected to ERP systems and other production data. This means handling is no longer a separate element next to the finishing machine, but an integrated part of the complete production flow. Handling, finishing and data work together as one stronger whole, creating more control over production.
From compact Q-Bots to powerful Qubes
For companies that want to start with automatic handling in an accessible way, there is the Q-Bot. This compact and safe cobot solution takes over repetitive handling tasks around smaller product parts, without immediately requiring a major investment or complex integration.
The Qubes are the Cartesian handling solutions within the Q-Fin portfolio. They are available in various configurations for different product sizes, weights and capacity requirements.
The QUBE 15 offers more speed and a payload of up to 15 kilograms. This solution works with one pallet position and is developed for dynamic production environments where on the fly production or batch processing is important. In combination with an F250, the Qube 15 provides a powerful solution for smaller sheet metal parts.
For wider finishing machines and larger products, several Qube configurations are available:
- The QUBE 8 is an ultra compact solution with one pallet position for sheet metal parts up to 8 kilograms.
- The QUBE 50 works with three pallet positions and handles sheet metal parts up to 50 kilograms within a very open structure.
- The QUBE 60 has one pallet position, is suitable for products up to 60 kilograms and offers a solution where available height is limited.
- The QUBE 90 combines three pallet positions with high capacity and maximum performance within a minimal footprint.
- The QUBE 50D and QUBE 90D are equipped with six pallet positions, offering maximum autonomy for production lines that need to keep running independently for longer periods.
The Qubes are prepared for connection to wider finishing machines and rotators with a working width of 1200 and 1500 millimetres. The best configuration does not only depend on product weight. Product mix, desired autonomy, available space and the way you produce all determine which handling flow delivers the most value.
