In March this year, Pland Stainless celebrated remarkable long service achievements, honouring four dedicated employees who have devoted a combined total of 130 years to the company. Their commitment and hard work have greatly contributed to the legacy and growth of this Leeds-based business.

Martin Gill and Steve Duree have both worked at Pland Stainless for 40 years, while David Lambert has been with the company for 30 years, and Glen Sykes for 20 years. All of them currently work in the production department at Pland Stainless, except for Steve Duree, who retired at the end of March after serving as the company’s Managing Director.

Pland Stainless has been manufacturing stainless steel products for the commercial market since 1919, operating from the same location in Lower Wortley, Leeds, West Yorkshire. The company employs over 60 staff members, most of whom are directly involved in the design and production of its products. Pland Stainless relies on the experience and lifelong skills of its workforce and regularly takes on apprentices to train, qualify, and continue the legacy of this Yorkshire manufacturing business.
