The Confederation of British Metalforming (CBM) is the leading trade association representing the UK metalforming industry. Representing more than 200 companies, the CBM supports manufacturers operating across the fastener, forging, pressing, sheet metal and cold rolling sectors, from global OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to highly skilled SMEs.

The CBM champions the interests of its members by providing expert guidance, industry representation, technical support, networking opportunities, and access to specialist services. It works closely with government, policymakers and industry partners to influence legislation, improve competitiveness, address skills shortages, support decarbonisation, and help businesses navigate challenges such as energy costs, employment law and international trade.
