A significant investment in laser cutting machinery was announced by Thomas Storey Fabrications Group Ltd, a leading UK manufacturer of steel fabrication products. The Group has recently purchased a MAZAK OptiPlex fibre laser cutter designed for high-speed, precision steel cutting.

Fibre lasers consume less energy than traditional CO2 lasers resulting in lower operating costs and smaller environmental footprint.
