Make UK Defence is a national organisation that champions the UK’s Defence supply chain, representing its interests to the government and broader industry. By facilitating regular face to face networking and hosting “Meet the Buyer” events that connect SME’s with Defence Primes and Government, the organisation helps their members forge links across the supply chain. Their Fit for Defence programme provides tailored business improvement plans, making their members more competitive within the sector.

Dan Parvaz, BCW’s account manager at Make UK Defence added, “Our goal is to help UK SME Manufacturers enter and win business within the defence supply chain, working with them to develop strong relationships within the sector. BCW has recognised the strategic value of what we do, then rapidly made membership a reality. This agile behaviour coupled with technical expertise is valuable to the sector, and I look forward to working with Paul and the BCW Team in what is shaping up to be a very busy 2025!”

This partnership comes at a pivotal time as the UK’s strategic defence review approached and major programmes like GCAP and AUKUS continue to take shape. By joining Make UK Defence, BCW Design & Manufacture is set to enhance its contribution to the defence industry, supporting both domestic and international defence initiatives.
