Adey Steel is delighted to announce it has secured a multi-million-pound contract to deliver Lineside Noise Barrier Posts on the HS2 programme. The contract was formally awarded in March 2026, with production and delivery activities commencing immediately to support the programme’s critical construction timelines.
Spanning a two-year delivery period, this package will see Adey Steel manufacture and supply thousands of galvanised posts that will form a critical part of HS2’s noise mitigation system. The project will be delivered using our advanced robotic welding capability, a recent area of investment that is driving innovation across our operations while strengthening and supporting our highly skilled workforce.
This award reinforces Adey Steel’s growing role in the UK’s largest infrastructure project. By contributing to the delivery of HS2, we are supporting national economic growth, improved connectivity, and long-term opportunities across the wider supply chain.
