Wrightform are delighted to announce a significant enhancement to its manufacturing capabilities with the addition of a state-of-the-art fibre laser from TRUMPF. This strategic investment aligns with its ongoing commitment to delivering top-tier quality, higher efficiency and sustainable production for our subcontract metal fabrication customers.

Why this matters

The new fibre laser represents a major upgrade from our previous CO₂ laser systems, enabling faster cutting speeds, higher precision, lower maintenance and improved energy efficiency. For Wrightform clients, this translates into quicker turnaround times, tighter tolerances and the ability to confidently quote on more complex or demanding job profiles. It also supports the company’s mission to reduce its environmental impact — a direct benefit to both our business and our partner firms.

Support from the Suffolk Economy Grant

Wrightform are particularly pleased to acknowledge support for this project, which is part-funded by Suffolk County Council by way of the Suffolk Economy Grant programme. This scheme exists to help micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Suffolk invest in innovation, digital technology adoption and clean growth (including energy-efficient plant & machinery).

The grant helped Wrightform to replace its legacy CO₂ lasers and accelerate the deployment of advanced manufacturing equipment in our facility. The application and collaboration process was smooth and constructive — Wrightform values the working relationship and looks forward to building on it.
