When processing high-tensile and hot-rolled (scaled) sheets, there will be high loads on the catchment radii. For that reason, it is particularly important that work surfaces are durable and wear-resistant. This can be achieved by using LWT inserts, which are made of fully hardened tool steel. The wear-resistant LWT inserts will greatly extend the service life of your die.
