As part of Universal’s commitment to offering fast track prototyping and scalable manufacturing to its customers, the company is proud to announce it has invested in another 6kW Laser Cutter.
This state-of-the-art Amada machine takes advantage of the latest ECO technology and compliments Universal’s existing laser cutting and punching machines.
The new Amada Ensis 4020 AJ fibre laser will be dedicated to those customers who take advantage of Universal’s Aluminium cut parts, welded parts and fabrications.
Cutting Capabilities of the Amada Ensis 4020 AJ
The Amada Ensis 4020 AJ can cut sheet sizes up to 4070mm x 2050mm, 25mm thickness and with a positional accuracy +/- 0.01 mm. With the additional investment of an automatic sheet loader, it benefits from being able to run continuously throughout the night. This is especially important for high volume production runs and when customers need fast tracked delivery times.
Whilst this particular machine is being used for Aluminium fabrication work, Universal can cut, bend, weld and fabricate all metal based materials for their customers.
