Timeless Tube have recently made its two largest tubes to date, formed from stainless steel circular tubes with outside diameters (ODs) of over 8 inches (OD 204mm and OD 206mm).
The large elliptical oval tube (271 x 118mm) and flat-sided oval tube (246 x 127mm) were made for two very different marine applications.
Until recently, 200mm x 100mm oval tube was the largest tube formed by Timeless Tube, made from a 6 inch circular tube.
“These new tubes are 1/3 larger than what we have ever made before. Our range of tubes is ever-growing thanks to our clients, who come to us for new sizes and profiles. Our forming expertise and nimble set-up allows us to make new sizes without our clients having to place a large order quantity.” says Timeless Tube’s Managing Director Tom McMillan.

New tooling was made to achieve these sizes, using Timeless Tube’s special forming process and machinery.
