Why It Matters
As a supplier to sustainability-focused industries, aligning with its customers’ environmental values is essential. ISO 14001 helps formalise that commitment through measurable actions, ensuring the company reduce its environmental impact while improving operational efficiency.
The Journey to Certification
The journey began with a gap analysis to assess where the company stood against the standard. From there, it initiated several improvement projects that are now part of company culture, including:
- Upgrading waste management
- Using recyclable materials
- Managing energy consumption
- Transitioning to an all-electric company car fleet
- Investing in energy-efficient machines across our sites
Sirius Manufacturing Group also developed a strong internal framework with policies and procedures, environmental objectives, and staff training to ensure long-term success.
Led by Ali Zavery, General Manager, the company conducted internal audits and worked across all departments to ensure accountability. Sirius Manufacturing Group are committed to transparency, regularly sharing progress with stakeholders and maintaining high standards across the group.
