Four first year Bendalls Engineering apprentices have recently engineered special jigsaw pieces for Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice, in Carlisle.
The colourful pieces, carefully engineered by Ashley (Design), Matthew, Kenzie and Tom (Weld/Fab), are now displayed on the wall to hold the names of the children who have been in their care, providing a meaningful and touching tribute.

“We’re proud to see our apprentices’ hard work contribute to something so significant, helping families honour their loved ones while supporting the incredible work that Jigsaw does for the community,” said a spokesperson for Bendalls.

“Thank you to all involved for bringing this project to life with such care and compassion, and to Thomas Graham & Sons Ltd for their donation of paint to complete the project.”
