Event Description
Advanced Engineering is the UK’s leading annual gathering of OEMs and engineering supply chain professionals. Taking place on 1 & 2 November 2023 at the NEC, Birmingham, the show is entering its 14th year as the UK’s engineering innovation hub.
Divided into 7 show zones, Advanced Engineering highlights innovation and collaboration across the entire supply chain and all sectors. The show zones are Aero Engineering, Composites Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Connected Manufacturing, Advanced Metals, Space & Satellite Engineering and NEW for 2023 Product Testing & Quality Control The event is supported by leading industry partners including ALFED, ADS, SMMT, Composites UK, IMechE, GTMA, UK Space Agency, Satellite Applications Catapult and many more.
In 2022 Advanced Engineering hosted ADS and SMMT’s established meet the buyer schemes, allowing buyers to source new suppliers to fulfil their projects.

It’s fair to say a lot has changed since HM The Queen officially opened the NEC in 1976. We’ve grown significantly in size and reputation for starters, to become the UK’s number one venue of choice for organisers, exhibitors and visitors. We originally had seven exhibition halls - today we have 18. Not to mention 32 conference suites and a host of additional outdoor spaces.
