The first of two dished heads received into Bendalls Engineering’s Kingmoor site in May 2024 has now been successfully delivered to Sellafield Ltd, marking continued progress on the Programme and Project Partners (PPP) SIXEP Continuity Plant (SCP)
This impressive section, now fitted with 36 nozzles including 3 large chimneys, is part of the largest bulk storage tank being installed on the plant — playing a critical role in Sellafield’s effluent treatment process. The second dished head will remain safely in storage with Bendalls until the site is ready for delivery.
