Founded by Brothers Jeff and Cliff Wood in 1950, originally “wirecraft” tools were produced working with thinner wire which was soldered together. A few years later the tools were updated to work with flat steel and riveted together, and “Metalcraft” tools were created.
Further updates have been made throughout the 75 years, and Metalcraft have now exported tools to 100’s of countries all over the world.
Going under the company name of J & CR Wood, the business also produces point of sale display stands, education and caravan furniture, greenhouse shelving and shopping trolleys!
All British made in our factory in Hull of course.
